|||||||
Dear Resident, Ware Neighbourhood Policing Team will be holding a Knife Angel Engagement Event in your local area.
Ware Neighbourhood Team will be giving you a great opportunity for you the community to engage with their local police. The event will be held in the Priory Ware, this is a local initiative by Ware NPT (Neighbourhood Policing Team) and is part of a larger, county-wide campaign related to the Knife Angel. The Knife Angel, a 27-foot-tall sculpture made from over 100,000 confiscated knives, is a national monument against violence and aggression. Its tour through Hertfordshire during October 2025 is a significant event aimed at raising awareness about knife crime. While the main opening ceremony and display is in Welwyn Garden City, this campaign includes a series of local events throughout the county. The Ware NPT event is one of these, designed to bring the campaign's message directly to the local community. What to Expect at the Event * Meet Your Local Officers: This is a chance to put a face to the police force that serves your area. * Discuss Key Issues: You'll have a platform to talk to officers directly about concerns such as gangs, crime, and anti-social behaviour (ASB). * Crime Prevention Advice: The police will be on hand to offer guidance and tips to help you, and your property stay safe. * Discuss important issues like gangs with Herts Police CCE Team ( Children & young people ) This event is part of a broader effort to foster a stronger partnership between the police and the community. By attending, you are helping to build a safer and more informed neighbourhood. The time for this even will be on Tuesday 7th October 2025 15:00 - 18:00pm
